The Role
We are looking for a Sr. BIM Modeler who can run their own MEP coordination project from front to back with some oversight from a Project Manager, and who is on the path to becoming a PM themselves. You will work alongside a founding team whose backgrounds include three decades as superintendents and project managers, plus senior consulting at Autodesk. You will lead coordination on individual projects, work directly with trade partners and field teams, and mentor the junior and mid-level modelers working on your project.
What You Will Do
Run a coordination project end to end under PM oversight
Lead multi-trade coordination meetings with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural teams
Build, refine, and quality-check Revit models and Navisworks federations
Direct and mentor junior and mid-level modelers on your project
Interface directly with trade partners, GC field teams, and client VDC contacts
Set and enforce LOD 350 to 400 standards on fabrication-ready deliverables
Help us evaluate and roll out AI tools that improve coordination output
Travel occasionally to job sites for coordination meetings and walk-throughs, primarily along the Wasatch Front
Support residential plan sets when project load calls for it
What We Are Looking For
Three to five years of BIM coordination experience
Strong working proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
Demonstrated ability to run a project from kickoff to closeout, with oversight
Multiple completed MEP coordination projects (commercial, healthcare, data center, industrial, or similar)
Interest in growing into a Project Manager role over time
Active curiosity about AI, with hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools, and clear ideas about where they fit in coordination workflows
Client-facing comfort: you can run a coordination meeting and hold the room
Field credibility: you have been on the job site, in the trailer, or on the tools at some point
The humility to take feedback from a 40-year plumber who has never opened Revit
A field-first mindset
Mission-critical, semiconductor, or data center coordination experience is a plus. Organizational change management exposure is a plus.
